With the recession coming, it seems that some investors are now looking for other assets than real estate or finance. Our market was until now oriented towards foreign gemstone dealers, but more and more Indian buyers are entering the market.
With the recession coming, it seems that some investors are now looking for safer assets than real estate or finance. Our market was until now oriented towards foreign gemstone dealers, but more and more Indian buyers are entering the market.
Foreign regular buyers are not coming since the end of september because of finance crack and its implications, but new local buyers are now looking for gemstones as investment. These people are mainly coming from the real estate field.
We generally do not recommend buying gemstones as investment but many Indian buyers ask for it without a minimum of knowledge. A lot of rip-offs are currently reported in our city. Generally these rip-offs are based on lead glass rubies and beryllium treated yellow sapphires.
Market is shocked with the Bombay slaughter. Our city is an example of peaceful coexistence between communities despite the efforts of some crazy outsiders. As before, our communities will keep tight and surpass this terrible crisis.
