Mozambique or Nigeria "Paraiba" type tourmaline is very hot in the market.
Any tourmaline showing a bright green blue color and named Paraiba find easily buyers. Material does not even need to be blue or clean, we saw some lots of quite included, cabochon grade but faceted, "Paraiba" tourmaline being sold for quite high prices.
Some owners are now going back in their old stock to see if some bluish material can come back on the market with this new magic name...
